Areas of Practice
Adam specialises in Criminal Law for both the Prosecution and Defence. He is a Grade 3 Prosecutor.

As a former Solicitor Adam worked for a number of major Manchester criminal practices concentrating in serious cases of an historic sexual nature and this background has made him acutely aware of, and sensitive to, the demands of instructing solicitors; particularly in terms of client care which is an area he regards as being of paramount importance.

Since being called to the Bar Adam has worked through the complete spectrum of criminal cases as Led Counsel, as a Leading Junior and as Counsel alone. He has defended in major VAT and credit card case frauds and in all types of violent and sexual offences including VHCC work. Adam has also defended a considerable number of benefit fraud cases.

He has developed a significant practice working on behalf of Local Authorities in the North West in criminal and quasi-criminal cases including environmental prosecutions, anti-social behaviour and benefit fraud.

Adam has provided in-house training for solicitors and local authorities in areas such as trial preparation, proceeds of crime and presentation of evidence.
