She was educated at Bolton School. She took a First in Law from Birmingham University where she was awarded the highest mark in Jurisprudence and the Henry Barber Law Scholarship.
She has been a member of Peel Court since completing her pupillage in chambers with Richard Pearce as her pupil superviser.She has a varied common law practice and has appeared in front of a wide range of tribunals. She represents both Claimants and Defendants in civil claims in the small and fast track both at trial and at the interlocutory stage.
She prosecutes and defends in a wide range of criminal cases including VHCCs. She has been led by senior members of chambers in complex criminal cases for both the Prosecution and the Defense.
She provides advice in conference and in writing and undertakes drafting in a wide range of civil cases, but particularly personal injury. Alex also has experience in Licensing, Health and Safety at work and Food Hygiene cases
